This historically accurate program, using letters, and personal documents, looks back to an earlier period in American  history and the ways in which four responsible, decent public and private citizens  dealt with their personal, intimate needs -- needs which are common to all human beings..

An Affair of the Heart reveals the close relationships that Franklin Delano Roosevelt, 32nd president of the United States, had with several women.
